At Habitat ReStore GTA, we want you to be satisfied with your unique home finds while supporting our mission to build affordable housing. Due to the donated nature of our inventory, most sales are final, but we offer a limited 14-day return window for select electronic and mechanical items that are found to be non-functional.

Return Process

  Verify Eligibility

  Ensure your item is eligible for return by checking your receipt; generally, only appliances, electronics, and lighting with functional defects are accepted within 14 days.

  Gather Documentation

  Locate your original printed or digital sales receipt and ensure all original Habitat ReStore price tags remain attached to the item.

• 3.
  Visit Original Location

  Bring the item back to the specific Habitat ReStore GTA location where the purchase was made, as returns cannot be processed across different store branches.

• 4.
  Receive Store Credit

  Once the item is inspected and the defect is confirmed, a store credit note will be issued for the full purchase price to be used on your next home improvement treasure.
